The Medical Issues Related to "Gender-Affirming" Care, with Dr. Paul Hruz
Franciscan University just relaunched my podcast/show Purposeful Lab. The show was originally part of a John Templeton Grant project with the Spitzer-Magis center but it is now being continued by Franciscan University. This season we are exploring the nature of man and woman and the guest on this episode is Dr. Paul Hruz, a pediatric endocrinologist who has raised medical concerns regarding the so called gender-affirming care model. He is particularly concerned about how cross-hormone treatments can adversely affect youth who would like to alter their body to be more in-line with the opposite sex.
